學習目標
This is a comprehensive case involving most models addressed in the human resources section of an introductory business course. Particularly, it focuses on the importance of leadership in fulfilling organizational objectives. It provides students with a human resource environment they can identify with (most will live in residence or have friends). Part A and B illustrate the symptoms of some serious problems evolving in a residence organization. An interesting issue that develops is how to regain trust and respect when you have lost it due to mistakes made in a leadership role. Lastly, it gives students an idea of the types of functions a human resource manager performs, i.e., job contracts, training, job recruitment and selection.
