It is intended to illustrate the importance of preparation and planning; integrative negotiation in the context of job offers, and specific behaviors that contribute to effective negotiation. The main objective of the two-party (role of applicant and role of recruiter) simulation is to discuss ways to prepare for and conduct job-offer negotiations. The simulation illustrates the types of issues that are typically negotiated in job offers, from the perspective of the applicant and the recruiter, and it shows students how to effectively prepare for and conduct job-offer negotiations.
