Beyond Money: Toward an Economy of Well-Being
內容大綱
Economic indicators have for the most part served society well, say the authors. However, these indicators have glaring shortcomings as approximations of collective human well-being. Policy decisions at the organizational, corporate and government levels should be more heavily influenced by considerations related to well-being - people's sense of purpose and satisfaction with their lives. The authors define well-being and describe five of its key sources, then discuss possible ways to measure it going forward.
