Despite the wealth of research on effective teams â€" and regardless of individual effort and good intentions â€" organizations still struggle to deploy teams that achieve their potential. Our research suggests that mutually-reinforcing functional and cultural change processes, and the way in which these processes are combined, are critical for team-building success.
