學習目標
The themes of the case series include career derailment, leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and managing careers. The case allows students to achieve the following objectives: to highlight the need for reflection in the learning-to-lead process in order to develop self-awareness, which is essential to leadership development; to appreciate the importance of coaching, mentoring, and feedback for developmental purposes and hence personal growth as a leader; to develop an understanding of how to actively manage your leadership career and the importance to always figure out what’s needed to be successful in the next leadership position; and to formulate a solid understanding of the factors that contribute to career derailment.
