An advocate of media standards has released a blog post outlining allegations of plagiarism against a prominent newspaper columnist. The public editor is responsible for upholding journalistic ethics and for investigating and responding to public concerns. She needs to respond to the allegations of plagiarism and ensure the public that the national newspaper upholds strong ethical standards.
